Pricing questions
What counts, and what doesn’t.
What exactly is a billable level-up?
A guest who is checked in at your venue crosses an XP threshold and moves up a level. That single crossing bills at $0.50. With seven levels, a guest climbing all the way from Rookie to Legend generates six billable events. A single credit large enough to cross two thresholds at once counts as two.
XP decays. What if a guest levels down and climbs back?
Billing counts every upward threshold crossing, so a guest who slips back to Challenger and climbs to Pro again generates a second Pro event. There is no cooldown and no per-guest lifetime cap — six events per guest is a floor, not a ceiling. In practice a guest has to stop visiting long enough to lose a level before that can happen at all.
What if a guest levels up somewhere else?
You are not billed. Level-ups bill to the venue where the guest was physically checked in when the threshold was crossed.
Is there a minimum?
No. A month with no level-ups is a month with a zero-dollar invoice.
Do multi-location operators pay more?
No per-location fee. Each location bills only for its own level-ups, and each one gets its own monthly invoice.
What about setup or hardware?
Setup is free and you can run the check-in kiosk on any tablet and print check-in slips on a designated label printer. We can also supply a fully pre-configured startup kit for $499.
How and when are we billed?
Monthly in arrears, itemised by level-up, so you can reconcile every charge against a guest and a timestamp.
